Arizona Box Lacrosse (AZBOXLA) was established in 2005. Starting with a partnership between the City of Glendale and the Arizona Sting Professional Lacrosse Club we began with a youth camp and ran leagues together through 2007. When the AZ Sting ceased operations AND the city pulled most of their youth sport programming the Glendale Lacrosse League was born adding field lacrosse. Interestingly the players did not initally want to play field - Box was much more fun!

Fast forward to 2015 and the United States Box Lacrosse Association (USBOXLA) came to us and sanctioned our orginization as the first club in Arizona to play legit box lacrsosse. 

Currently AZBOXLA offers instructional and competitive programs in the late spring through fall.
